Send Audio Files to Etranscript
Once you have completed recording your interviews, send your audio or video files to Etranscript for transcription. Dropbox provides a secure file transfer process by means of Dropbox File Request which is HIPAA compliant as well as adhering to EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Frameworks. You will receive an email containing a link where your files can be securely and conveniently uploaded. Alternatively, the transferring of audio files can be done via FTP or an HTTPS facility of your own.
Transcription of Audio Files
Your audio files will be transcribed to a Microsoft Word document using intelligent-verbatim transcription. If required, verbatim transcripts can be compiled by arrangement. More about intelligent-verbatim and verbatim transcript styles on the Transcript Types page.
Completed document is sent to you
The transcript is then checked – this involves replaying the audio and checking for errors. Once the checking process is complete, the document will be emailed to you or transferred to you using Dropbox encrypted file transfer. The final checking and verification of the transcript is then performed by yourself, the client.
